£3.00

(Vinyasa) Flow - in Sanskrit, Vinyasa means to place with awareness. Flow classes link asana (postures) with the movement of our breath. Though slow paced flow classes are dynamic, which help develop cardiovascular fitness, stamina and endurance. Asana practice help to develop strength and flexibility and balance, as well as quieting our the mind. The dynamic nature of vinyasa flow means it helps to develop cardiovascular fitness and enhance stamina. Vinyasa classes are often described as ‘Moving meditation’ as we have to focus our minds on the present moment (where am I moving my feet, hands etc) as we move. Flow classes are anchored with connecting to the breath, when we slow down our breathing we stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system- also known as the body’s “rest and restore” mode- which helps to regulate our hormonal balance.

Flow 1 >> Open to all levels, although a little prior experience is recommended (though not necessary!)

Couldn’t make it to a live-streamed Zoom class? Enjoy practicing on your own schedule with Zoom REWIND. classes.

Please note in some classes I will not be ‘demo-ing’ throughout the while class and there there will be moments in the class where I offer alignment cues to students who were practicing live streamed.

£5 per download, which will expire after 24 hours.
