A gentle and slow paced class with the aim to find space physically and mentally. Hatha in Sanskrit translates as ha = “sun” and tha = “moon.” This refers to the balance of masculine and feminine aspects within all of us. Masculine being active, hot, sun, and feminine being receptive, cool, luna. Through our Hatha yoga practice we aim to find balance and harmony through uniting opposites physically ( strength + flexibility, effort + surrender, body + breath) and energetically.
Yoga Nidra, or ‘yogic sleep’ is a guided meditation to take you into a state of conscious and deep sleep. Through methodically sequenced breath + body awareness meditations to visualisations, Nidra unwinds the nervous system and induces complete physical and mental relaxation with inner awareness.
